Rundown:

Corset is made of a white cotton twill base with doubled plastic zip-tie boning and two fashion layers, one of black shot green polyester and one of black mesh. Edges are finished in black bias tape. Hand sewn eyelet lacing in back and hook and eye closure in front.

Chemise is made of black cotton with matching beaded ribbon covered sleeve bands.

Inspiration:

Lisa wanted a halloween costume so she could go as Anita Blake. She asked if I could make her a corset and I told her I would free of charge if she would buy the supplies. I had not fitted anyone other than myself before and this was a learning experience, hence no charge. The cost of materials was around $100 by itself, if I HAD charged it would have been around...$250 + for labor and materials. As it was, she got a secure and well fitted corset and I got to learn new skills.
